Ankur Daga, Founder and CEO
Growing up in a family that sells fine diamonds and gemstones throughout the world, Ankur has always been the "friend in the jewelry industry". After helping numerous people navigate the diamond industry to purchase beautiful engagement rings, he became frustrated with the lack of simple and informative venues for men to shop for fine jewelry.
With his many years of experience and a strong business background, Ankur founded Angara and embarked on a mission to revolutionize and refine the process of buying diamonds and luxury jewelry for men and women regardless of their knowledge level.
Prior to Angara, Ankur worked for McKinsey & Company in New York City, a business management consulting firm.
He earned an master's degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School, a bachelor's degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and he is also a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America.
