I selected a drop pearl earring that I wanted to get for my wife before Mother's day, but the item I selected was not available by that date. Angara offered me a substitute which was almost identical but more expensive - it had numerous small diamonds included. The earrings arrived in an attractive package, including a very nice small jewelry case for traveling.

Bleaching is a commonly accepted method used to lighten and even out the colour of Akoya cultured pearls.

Medium nacre and lustre. Medium-grade Akoya pearls representing top 33% of harvest.

Thick nacre with very high lustre. High-grade Akoya pearls representing top 10% of harvest.

Very thick nacre and ultra-high lustre. Highest grade Akoya pearls representing top 1-2% of harvest.

Ruby

Heat Enhancement is a commonly accepted age-old high temperature Enhancement that is performed on virtually all rubies in order to maximize brilliance and purity.

Medium pinkish red; limited amount of light passes through the ruby; some inclusions are visible with the naked eye.

Top 10% of rubies in terms of quality. Medium red, slightly included and exhibits high brilliance. This quality is comparable to that used by the top 5th Avenue or Rodeo Drive Jewellers.

Top 1% of rubies, in terms of quality. Truly exceptional deep rich red, very slightly included and exhibits high brilliance. This quality can be found only at the top boutiques in the world.
