It has a little light built in so when you open the box, the light shines on the stones. The engagement ring this will be set with also has a leaf motif, and this was a special order to make it a bit wider so none of the detail of the engagement ring is hidden. They will be stunning together. Ordered in the 14k white gold, with the "best" level of emeralds. If you are looking at this ring, don't hesitate. Wish there was a way to upload a photo of the actual ring. Could not be happier. Even with the special order, and it being shipped from overseas, it was a timely delivery. Note: it's delivered requiring a signature. So if nobody is home during the day, have this shipped to a location where someone can sign. I was able to change my delivery to a local UPS store and pick up there.
