The earrings are of a very good quality and the sparkle nicely when looked at while holding them. However, the color does not show well on the ears and they pretty much look like black earrings. I guess a lighter blue would be better for studs.

These earrings are beautiful. The gems are a rich, deep blue. The setting is well made. I am really happy with this product. More importantly, my wife is really happy with this product. I opted for a platinum setting because my wife has had some metal allergies in the past. I wanted to make sure that if she wears these as much as she wears her diamond earrings, she would never have to worry about irritation. So glad I chose to upgrade. Great customer service in processing the order. And the items were packaged extremely well. The next time I'm looking for quality jewelry, I am definitely keeping Angara in mind.

After spending weeks wandering through the nightmare that is 47th St in Manhattan, looking for a splendid pair of cost-efficient and stunning sapphire earrings for a darling friend of mine who might, quite possibly be one of the month's most enthusiastic proponents, I ended up on the Angara website. It was a sight for sore eyes who had blankly stared at countless items with poor remarks regarding shininess and blueness. All I truly knew was cost, and the vague sense of whether or not I liked them. These salespeople crushed my zeal and replaced it with an urgency to be invisible. Angara, a site I never even heard of (first internet searches went to the heavily publicized sites), is without doubt a great site to purchase jewelry, and I'll be back for future gifts. To respond to critics, I understand an internet store may not seem that trustworthy since the images you're seeing are not what you're purchasing, but let's be honest, I didn't know what I was truly looking at in person. But with such competitive prices, and good customer service I took the 'risk'. I even upgraded to heirloom quality stones. I'm not sure if you, the reader, can tell. But I am clearly satisfied. I trusted other customers' reviews and whether or not mine helps someone save their precious time, I'll be back. I think my only complaint is that I wish I made more money so I could buy more jewelry...

This was the first time I had used Angara to purchase online jewelry and in fact the first time purchasing online ever. I read a third party recommendation to purchase through Angara elsewhere and that prompted me to try them. I was not disappointed. Excellent personalized customer care and on time arrival (though I did pay extra for faster shipment) of beautiful sapphire earrings. I also received some items for free which made a perfect gift for my small child. Angara is great.
