I loved it so much that I wanted a dark blue one and decided to splurge. This necklace is beautiful. It's a simple classic design that can be dressed up or down. The setting is beautiful. The diamonds really sparkle and the scroll detail on the sides of the setting is very pretty. The setting is also a very good-quality, sturdy and has some weight to it. The tanzanite Stone is beautiful as well. I ordered the AAA, 12x8mm stone and it's just as described online, a rich violet blue with high brilliance. Tanzanite is also interesting and unique in that they can have a color shift depending on the lighting. This stone most of the time looks like a rich blue but sometimes it changes slightly to a more violet color under some lights. Also, if you order through customer service on the phone, you can upgrade your necklace chain to a thicker, more sturdy one for an additional fee. Since this was a more pricey piece for me to buy, I decided to get the thicker chain for security. These are definitely necklaces I will have for the rest of my life and pass down to my daughters.  Barbara was a pleasure to work with and answered my many questions, even contacting the master Jeweler.  I highly recommend Angara for their quality of jewelry and excellent customer service. I will be back in the future to buy pieces.
