Irradiation is an age-old process where gemstones are irradiated to enhance their optical properties. Irradiation may be followed by a heating/annealing process.

Has a greenish blue hue with high brilliance. Inclusions not visible to the naked eye. Quality can compared to that of top 5th Avenue or Rodeo Drive jewelers.
