It is white gold but too thin and the clasp is so little that normal fingers have a hard time opening and closing it. Overall very nice!

The AAAA natural ruby was described as "heirloom" and having seen the deep, vibrant red color and exceptional clarity under a loupe, the description is of no exaggeration. There is also clear craftsmanship of the setting itself, made in elegant white gold. It also helps that the GIA-graduate certified appraisal came in at about twice the amount I paid for it, speaking volumes about the value offered, and I look forward to purchasing more custom jewelry from Angara in the future.
