I selected a drop pearl earring that I wanted to get for my wife before Mother's day, but the item I selected was not available by that date. Angara offered me a substitute which was almost identical but more expensive - it had numerous small diamonds included. The earrings arrived in an attractive package, including a very nice small jewelry case for traveling.

South Sea Cultured Pearl

South Sea cultured pearls are not enhanced in any way.

Medium nacre and lustre. Medium-grade South Sea pearls representing top 33% of harvest.

Thick nacre with very high lustre. High-grade South Sea pearls representing top 10% of harvest.

Very thick nacre and ultra-high lustre. Highest grade South Sea pearls representing top 1-2% of harvest.

Emerald

The filling of surface-breaking fissures with a colourless oil, wax or other colourless substance except glass or plastic, to improve the gemstone's clarity is an age-old process adopted for virtually all emeralds.

Top 33% of emeralds in terms of quality.  Medium green and heavily included.  This quality is comparable to that used by leading independent/family jewellers.

Rich medium green, moderate inclusions can be seen with the naked eye (inclusions are typical for emeralds, no inclusions typically indicate that the emerald is not genuine); great value for a high quality emerald; well cut for high brilliance.

Rich deep green; moderate to minor inclusions can be seen with the naked eye (inclusions are typical for emeralds, no inclusions typically indicate that the emerald is not genuine); incredible brilliance in daylight and artificial light; exceptionally cut to maximize brilliance; amongst the best available in the world; quality typically worn by royalty.
